Israel Institute
Branding for Education Grant-Maker
AWARD
WINNER
The Israel Institute was launched with the goal of expanding knowledge about modern Israel by ensuring college students have access to Israel-related classes and programs during their time on campus. The Charles and Lynn Schusterman Family Foundation came to us to help get it off the ground.
We began by developing a communications plan, messaging strategy and a dynamic visual brand.
The logo referenced Israel's unique geography and uses boldly colored triangles to convey a sense of excitement and pride in modern Israel. The triangle elements provided a distinctive feature to design of the new brand, readily visible in all of the materials.
The website was designed to appeal to target audiences, especially college students and higher education stakeholders. We organized all of the content, provided wire-frames and designed schematics. We also provided back-end development, client training and launch services.
On the print side we built out the brand via two brochures — a primary capabilities piece and a more compact version for events. Roller Banners were created to support small-scale events and trade shows.
To date, we have won four awards for our design, among them, a gold in the W3 competition.
