Across the country, business leaders — concerned by a lack of qualified job candidates — have endorsed Achieve, Inc.’s state-by-state campaign to raise K-12 educational standards. Achieve is now leveraging their support in an effort to expand the movement, thanks to a suite of branded communications resources that provide facts, in-depth information and tools for taking action. Printed tool kits with changeable inserts, businessandeducation.org website*, Biz4edu mobile app*, and social media templates are helping CEOs, CFOs and Social Responsibility Officers make the case to their peers, the media and policy-makers … and vastly increase support for higher standards. In 15 months, Achieve distributed 10,000 tool kits, quickly blasting through its first print run and heading deep into its second run.

Achieve’s new coordinated suite of vehicles gives corporations, business coalitions and educators the tools they need to inform and inspire others to support higher education standards, so students can graduate high school fully prepared for college and careers. The campaign products deliver:

  • A clear economic argument for business leaders to support higher education standards of its future employees.
  • A dynamic newsfeed on issues related to the skills gap and jobs in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM)
  • Grab ‘n’ go templates and examples on numerous media platforms for rallying support
  • State-specific tracking of legislative and policy developments
  • Success stories from across the country

The campaign has served as a launchpad for engaging employees, state and local leaders, the press and business coalitions around the country. The diverse elements of the campaign are now widely used in presentations to leadership; in strategy sessions; in meetings with state policy makers; in speeches to Chambers of Commerce; and in outreach to media, communities and employees.

“In addition to the firm’s reputation for excellence in design, Beth Singer Design has taken a great deal of initiative in supporting our team to strategize about the best and most efficient ways to reach and serve our audiences.”
