Love Bombing the Community

Our Rockland and Jewish Facebook Project is shoring up a diverse mainstream with pride and positivity. Showing slices of modern Jewish life in Rockland County, NY, the project is helping to reconcile perception and reality in what is a huge divide among county residents.

Social Media Reveals Stories of Rockland's Diversity

Bob led a mission to rescue Ethiopian Jews and resettle them in Israel. Sandy runs a popular social group for young widows and widowers of all faiths. Jared is a teen athlete who looks forward to taking a break from sports and “unplugging” on Shabbat. These stories and more are part of the “Rockland and Jewish” social media outreach project.
